Sandra Kearney is IBMs Global Director for 3D Internet and Virtual Business. IBM started experimenting with virtual worlds long ago and under Sandys leadership has formed an emerging business focusing on making virtual worlds fit for business and society. Sandy has helped initiate and grow the IBM Virtual Universe Community of over 5,000 people experimenting with virtual worlds for IBM and their clients. Sandy has 25 years experience working as a business analyst in complex organizations and has published a number of studies for IBMs Institute of Business Value. She earned her Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
