Paul Steinberg (Peretz Stine in Second Life) is Second Life and Virtual Worlds Project Manager for the Intel Software and Solutions Group. Since joining Intel in 1999, Paul has worked as SSG Senior Technical Marketing Engineer for Java and Web Services as well as a Course Architect for Intel Software College. Before joining Intel, Paul was project lead and writer for New Media Magazine Labs in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as a Solutions Developer for Progress Software.

Pauls other interests include Middle Eastern politics and culture. Paul spent five years as a Research Fellow at the Harry S Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and six years as Visiting Scholar and Research Associate at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University. Paul has written and lectured widely on Middle Eastern issues. His book, The Road to Martyrs' Square, was published by Oxford University Press in 2004.
