Michael Bellavia is the Managing Director of Animax Entertainment, a creative production studio based in Los Angeles that creates character driven content for broadband, broadcast and every other screen. Winners of the first-ever Broadband Emmy Award and multiple design and technology awards, Animax produces animated content, casual games, and virtual worlds. Michael has led the studio since its inception in 2001. Prior to Animax, Michael was a Lead Strategist at Concrete Media, a boutique interactive agency and a Marketing Director at Sony. Michael has an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School and a BS in Engineering from The University of Michigan. He is on the Board of Delegates of the New Media Council of the Producers Guild of America, a mentor at AFI's Digital Content Lab, and an Emmy-winning producer.
