Few have experienced the overnight success that Anthony E. Zuiker has encountered in Hollywood. Creator of the hit television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which stars William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger, Zuiker has become one of the most coveted screen and television writers in the business. Just ten years ago, the aspiring writer worked as a tram driver at Las Vegas famed Mirage Hotel. Soon thereafter, he had a movie produced and is now famous for creating CSI. CBS has earned its spot as the number-one rated network due in large part to the series success.

Currently in its eighth season, CSI has received widespread critical acclaim and has earned distinction as the highest rated drama on television. The show earned its first Emmy nomination for Best Drama Series in 2002 and received subsequent nominations for Best Drama Series in 2003 and 2004, in addition to three Golden Globe nominations for Best Television Series (Drama). Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Productions, Zuiker serves as Executive Producer of CSI and writes numerous episodes each season.

Along with fellow CSI producers Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue, Zuiker also created and executive produces CSI: Miami starring David Caruso. Now in its sixth season, CSI: Miami continues to dominate in its timeslot on Mondays at 10:00 p.m. on CBS.

Building what is arguably the most successful television franchise in history, Zuiker now serves as the show runner and Executive Producer for the series third installment CSI: New York, which premiered in the fall of 2004 and stars Academy Award-nominee, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Gary Sinise and Emmy Award-nominee Melina Kanakaredes.

Zuikers first feature script dealing with the subculture of Las Vegas sports betting, The Runner was distributed by First Look Pictures in 1998 and starred Ron Eldard, Courteney Cox, John Goodman and Joe Mantegna. Following The Runner, Zuiker wrote Wanna-Be, which Bobby Newmyers Outlaw Productions will produce for Intermedia Films. Zuiker was hand-picked to write the screenplay by Leonardo DiCaprio, who was once attached to star in the film, based on an article in New York Magazine entitled Hoodfellas, about the new generation of mall-rat mobsters. Eric Eason (Manito) is currently attached to direct.

He rewrote The Harlem Globetrotters Story, about the start-up of the famous basketball team and their owner Abe Saperstein for Columbia Pictures with Davis Entertainment producing. Penny Marshall is currently attached to direct the project.

Zuiker resides in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with his wife and three sons.
